New Rochelle High School Takes Down Ray Rice's Jersey, Photo, Plaque
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- The fallout continues, even in his own hometown.
New Rochelle High School has taken down Ray Rice's Baltimore Ravens jersey from its gymnasium, according to Talk of the Sound, a New Rochelle news website.

Oddly, the football star's retired New Rochelle High School jersey is still on the wall, the website reported.

The school has also removed a photograph of Rice and a plaque honoring him from its Walk of Fame, Talk of the Sound reported.

Initially, Rice was suspended two games for his role in a domestic-violence attack on his then-fiance. But on Monday TMZ released a graphic second video of the former Ravens running back brutally assaulting Janay Rice in an elevator in the now-shuttered Revel casino in Atlantic City.

Rice was subsequently cut by the Ravens and then suspended indefinitely by the NFL.
