New Proposal To Cap Classroom Capacity In NYC Due To COVID
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - There's a new proposal to cap classroom capacity in New York City.
The move is designed to help with social distancing in classrooms to protect against COVID and improve the learning process.
If the bill is approved, it would mean, on average, the maximum number of students per classroom would be anywhere from 14 to 21.
Last year, high schools reportedly had roughly 26 kids per class.
