Poll Finds Gov. Phil Murphy With Favorable Lead In New Jersey Governor Race

TRENTON, N.J. (CBSNewYork) -- A new poll shows New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy with a substantial lead in his bid for reelection.
The Monmouth University poll found 52% of voters surveyed support Murphy over his Republican challenger Jack Ciattarelli, who got 36%.
When it comes to the most important issue, 41% of voters said it's the COVID pandemic, followed by 32% who are concerned about taxes, income and sales tax.
