Man Charged With Murder In Death Of 19-Month-Old L.I. Boy
UNIONDALE, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) -- A man was arrested and charged Monday in the death of a 19-month-old boy on Long Island.
The boy, Mason Robinson of New Cassel, was pronounced dead at 2:57 p.m. Sunday at North Shore-LIJ Syosset Hospital, according to Nassau County police.
On Monday morning, police arrested Lord Pardo, 26, of Uniondale. He was charged with one count of second-degree murder, police said.
Pardo was to be arraigned Tuesday in Nassau County First District Court in Hempstead, police said.
Police declined to comment further on the arrest, including whether the suspect knew the victim.
