New Bronx Ferry Route Opens

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - There's a new way to commute between the Bronx and Manhattan.
NYC Ferry has opened a new landing at Ferry Point Park in Throgs Neck.
Beginning Tuesday, ferries will stop there on their Soundview route.
The service will take commuters from the Bronx to the Upper East Side, Midtown and the Financial District in a trip that takes an hour or less.
