Report: Nets Trade Young To Indiana For First-Round Pick Thursday, Future Second-Rounder

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- The Brooklyn Nets have reportedly traded small forward Thaddeus Young to the Indiana Pacers for the 20th overall pick in Thursday night's draft and a future second-round selection.

The trade was first reported by Yahoo's The Vertical.

The Nets acquired Young in the February 2015 trade that sent Kevin Garnett back to the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Last season, Young played and started in 73 games, averaging 15.1 points and 9.0 rebounds per game.

The Nets were set to enter the draft with just one late second-round pick. Their first-round pick, which ended up being third overall, was sent to Boston in the 2013 Garnett/Paul Pierce trade.
