N train service resumes after partial derailment in Brooklyn

NEW YORK -- A partial subway derailment shut down service on the N train Wednesday morning in parts of Brooklyn.

The MTA says service has since resumed with delays in both directions.

The agency said an out-of-service train partially derailed while coming out of the Stillwell Avenue train yard, causing two rear cars to go off the tracks.

No injuries were reported.

N trains were not running between 86th Street and Coney Island-Stillwell Avenue for roughly two hours.

Riders were told to take D, F or Q trains for service to and from Coney Island-Stillwell Avenue.
