Multiple Cars In Hamilton Heights Vandalized Overnight
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – Residents in Hamilton Heights woke up to a disturbing sight Saturday morning as about two dozen cars parked on the street near Riverside Drive and 152nd Street were vandalized overnight.
Window after window was smashed, CBS2 reported, but it is unclear whether or not anything was taken.
"At least 20 cars had been broken into and I've been here for 15 years and 15 years ago it was more, they would steal things out of a car. Now they're just breaking windows and not stealing anything," resident Philip Germano said.
Police have not provided any further information.
