Water Main Break Floods Streets In Mott Haven, The Bronx
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A water main ruptured and left streets flooded in the Bronx on Thanksgiving Day.
The water main broke on Timpson Place in the Mott Haven section of the Bronx Thursday afternoon, officials said.
Water pressure pushed up through the blacktop and caused a flood.
The break happened in the industrial area, and officials said no residents were affected.
The break was repaired and water service in the area was restored early Thursday evening.
