Motorcyclist Struck By Hit-And-Run Driver In Manhattan

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A hit-and-run in Manhattan left a motorcyclist in critical condition at the hospital.
It happened around 6:30 a.m. Friday on West Street near Canal.
Police say the driver of a gray Volkswagen sedan ran a red light and struck a 39-year-old motorcyclist.
According to witnesses, the driver of the sedan got out of the car and ran away.
EMTs rushed the motorcyclist to Bellevue Hospital.
