Missing 10-Year-Old Brooklyn Boy Mark Huerta Found

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A 10-year-old Brooklyn boy who has been missing since Monday has been found.

Mark Huerta was brought home by police Tuesday morning and reunited with his parents after disappearing shortly after 3:30 p.m. Monday.

Huerta said when he got home from school, he ran away.

"I was bored," he told CBS 2's Weijia Jiang. "I didn't have nothing to do."

After roaming the streets, he eventually got on the subway where someone spotted him Tuesday morning on the M train in Middle Village and called authorities, Jiang reported.

Huerta said he was cold and hungry and wanted a cheeseburger. His parents said they will be having a long talk with their son to make sure something like this never happens again.
