Metro-North Service Back After Storm Snarled Morning Commute
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Metro-North is back to normal again after riders faced delays and cancellations during the morning rush following Tuesday's severe weather.
Metro-North says service on the Hudson, New Haven and Harlem lines between Southeast and Grand Central Terminal is operating on or close to schedule.
Harlem Line train service between Southeast and Wassaic is set to resume Wednesday with the 3:43p.m. train out of Grand Central and the 6:07p.m. train out of Wassaic.
There was limited service on the Hudson and Harlem lines Wednesday morning and service had been suspended between Wassaic and Southeast. In addition, 13 morning peak trains on the Harlem and Hudson lines were canceled.
The storm Tuesday snarled the evening commute, leaving thousands of riders stranded at Grand Central Terminal.
