Met Opera Star Helps Aspiring Singers From Upper East Side Arts School
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Many performers dream of making it to the Metropolitan Opera.
Now, several young performers may be one step closer to seeing that dream become a reality.

A group of talented singers from a performing arts school on the Upper East Side got the chance to work with Met Opera star Joyce DiDonato, also known as the Yankee Diva.
DiDonato has won a Grammy Award, performed all over the world, and sang the National Anthem at Game 7 of the World Series. She also loves volunteering.
