Police: NYCHA employee fatally shot in the Bronx
NEW YORK -- Police say a NYCHA employee was shot and killed at a building where he worked in the Bronx.
It happened around 4:15 p.m. Friday near East 156th Street and Jackson Avenue in the Melrose section.
According to police, the 49-year-old victim was shot in the face behind the Saint Mary's Park NYCHA development.
It's not clear if he was working at the time of the shooting.
No arrests have been made. The investigation is ongoing.
