4 Charged In Deaths Of 2 Men Shot In Parking Lot Of Meadowlands Racetrack, Police Say
EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (CBSNewYork) -- Police charged three men and a 16-year-old boy Monday in the shooting deaths of two men in the parking lot of a racetrack in New Jersey.
The shooting happened around 9 p.m. Sunday at the Meadowlands Racetrack in East Rutherford.
One victim was pronounced dead at the scene, the other died at Meadowlands Hospital.
The suspects allegedly fled the scene in a stolen SUV before crashing on nearby Route 120 north.
Police said they found two handguns in the car when the four suspects were taken into custody.
