Man Struck And Killed By Garbage Truck In The Bronx

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- An investigation was underway early Saturday after a man was struck and killed by a garbage truck in the Bronx.
It happened late Friday near 152nd Street and Jackson Avenue in the Woodstock section, where police say the victim was crossing the street outside of the crosswalk when he was hit by the private sanitation truck.
The man died at the scene.
No charges were immediately filed against the driver.
