Man Slashed In Face At Williamsburg Bodega
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- It was a bloody scene at a Williamsburg bodega Tuesday morning, after a man was slashed in the face multiple times.
As 1010 WINS' Al Jones reported, the flash of a blade, a muffled scream and a lot of blood was all over a couple of bucks.
"There was a guy that sent another guy to buy something in the store for $2.25, but the guy stayed in the store and spent it on something else," said Danny Rodriguez.
Rodriguez was behind the counter at D&G Deli near the corner of Division Avenue and Berry Street when the man who spent the money on something else paid for it in blood, Jones reported.
"Had a blade on the hand and he slashed him in the face three times," he said.
Rodriguez said the attacker ran off, the victim was taken to the hospital and he was left to clean up.
