Man Shot, Killed In Carteret Overnight
CARTERET N.J. (CBSNewYork) -- Authorities are investigating a fatal shooting that took place overnight Tuesday in Middlesex County.
Police say Briccio Guevara, 63, was found outside his Carteret home after neighbors reported hearing gunshots.
He was rushed to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in Rahway where he was pronounced dead shortly after he was discovered.
The Middlesex County Medical Examiner's Officer determined the man had been shot to death.
No arrests have been made and the investigation is active and ongoing, according to authorities.
