Man Pushed Onto Subway Tracks At West 4th Street Station

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A man suffered minor injuries after being pushed onto the subway tracks at West 4th Street.

The NYPD said the incident took place Friday at 3 a.m. inside of the West 4th Street subway station.

A 39-year-old man was pushed onto the tracks by the suspect without provocation.

The victim was able to climb back onto the platform on his own, suffering a bruised left leg and arm.

The suspect fled the scene.

The suspect is described as a white male, between 40 and 50 years of age, around 5-foot-10 and 170 to 180 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black coat and black suit.
