Man Found Dead With Multiple Stab Wounds In UES Apartment

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A man was found dead with multiple stab wounds at an Upper East Side apartment Monday evening.

Hector Rossy, 53, was found dead in an apartment on 85th Street between First and Second avenues, police said.

Police responded to the scene around 6:50 p.m. Monday for a call of an unconscious person, and found the victim with multiple stab wounds to the neck and torso.

There was no sign of a break-in, police said.

Rossy was pronounced dead at the scene. The New York City Medical Examiner's office will determine the cause of his death, police said.
