Police: 3 People Trespassed In Maternity Ward At NYU Lutheran Medical Center
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police were searching late Thursday for three people who are accused of trespassing in a hospital maternity ward in Brooklyn.
Police said the suspects – two women and a man – walked into the NYU Lutheran Medical Center maternity ward, at 150 55th St. in Brooklyn, and into a patient's room around 2 p.m. this past Sunday. They asked to take pictures with the woman's baby, but the woman said no, police said.
The suspects then drove off in a white minivan, police said.
One suspect was described as a Hispanic female around 30 to 35 years old, standing about 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighing about 145 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes and wearing a black sleeveless shirt.
The second was also described as a Hispanic female around 30 to 35 years old, standing about 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighing about 160 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes, and wearing a multicolor striped T-shirt and glasses, police said.
The third suspect was described as a Hispanic male about 30 to 35 years old, standing about 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighing about 150 pounds, with dark-colored eyes. He was bald and was wearing a white T-shirt and a black baseball cap, police said.
Police have released surveillance videos of all three suspects.
