Groundbreaking Ceremony Held At Prospect Park Baseball Field

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Baseball teams in Brooklyn will soon have two new fields to play on.
A groundbreaking ceremony was held Thursday at Long Meadows Baseball Field in Prospect Park.
Fields two and three are the last of seven at the park getting fixed up. Improvements will include better drainage, new seating areas and new dugouts.
Construction will officially begin in January.
