Person Of Interest Spotted After Livery Driver Stabbed To Death In The Bronx
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- On Sunday night, police released new surveillance video of a person of interest wanted in the fatal stabbing of a livery cab driver in the Bronx.
Police said the video shows a man dressed in all dark clothing. The suspect ran off from the scene.
Ganiou Gandonou, 27, was found stabbed in the neck and chest in his car late Saturday night in Co-op City. He later died at Jacobi Medical Center.
"I know for sure that he got no problem with anybody. He start this job. He worked. After work, he's home. He don't go to parties, met friends, go to clubs, nothing, nothing nothing," said his widow, Latifatou Alimi, said.

Gandonou was working for Uber, but it's unclear if he was stabbed by a customer.
Uber said it will assist police with the investigation.
The New York State Federation of Taxi Drivers is offering a $3,000 reward for information leading to an arrest in the case.

Authorities are reportedly investigating the killing as a possible robbery.
