Large sinkhole opens up in Lido Beach

LIDO BEACH, N.Y. -- A large sinkhole opened up in the middle of a road in Lido Beach on Wednesday.

Part of the intersection of Lido Boulevard and Regent Drive appeared to be collapsed.

Only the westbound lanes are open right now, and drivers are being told to avoid the area.
