LI Man Dies After Crashing Lamborghini Into Pole, Police Say
PORT JEFFERSON, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) -- A Long Island man was killed after his Lamborghini went off-road and hit into a pole, police said.
Glen Nelson, 48, of Belle Terre, was driving his 2008 Lamborghini on East Broadway and High Street in Port Jefferson at around 3:40 p.m. Sunday afternoon when the incident occurred, police said.
After the crash, Nelson was taken to Saint Charles Hospital in Port Jefferson, where he was pronounced dead, according to police.
The vehicle was impounded as police continue to investigate the crash.
