Power fully restored at JFK Airport's Terminal 1

NEW YORK -- John F. Kennedy International Airport returned to normal operations Sunday after a fire shut down Terminal 1 for days.

The small fire broke out Thursday morning, causing a power outage.

Airport officials say electrical repairs have been made and regular flight operations have resumed.

The shutdown caused travel headaches for international travelers, after many flights were rerouted or canceled.
