KATONAH, N.Y. (CBSNewYork/AP) -- Police said a man was found dead of gunshot wounds in his yard in Westchester County and they believe he was attacked.
The Bedford Town Police Department said Monday that investigators don't believe David Cuse's death was "a random act,'' but they're still investigating what happened.
Officers were called to his home on Oak Road in Katonah around 9:30 p.m. Saturday. Police say Cuse's relatives led them to his body.
Investigators believe the 39-year-old was attacked before dawn Saturday. Police said their preliminary investigation shows he died of multiple gunshot wounds.
A message left Monday at the home wasn't immediately returned.
An autopsy will be performed by the Westchester County Medical Examiner. Police said no further information is immediately available.
The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Bedford Police Department at (914) 241- 3111.
