Judge Declares Mistrial In Case Of Prestigious Law Firm That Went Belly-Up

NEW YORK(CBSNewYork) -- The government has failed to convict three top executives in the collapse of a prestigious law firm.

The former chairman, CEO, and CFO of the now defunct Dewey and LeBouef were accused of cooking the books as the firm went belly up.

After 21 days of deliberations without a verdict, the judge declared a mistrial.

District Attorney Cyrus Vance must now decide whether to re-try the case.
