Skylink Express Crew Reports Green Laser Pointed At Plane Near JFK Airport
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Another laser incident has been reported near John F. Kennedy International Airport.
The crew of Skylink Express Flight 9742 coming in from Ontario, Canada reported that a green laser was pointed at the aircraft around 1 a.m. Wednesday when the plane was about four miles away from the airport, according to the Federal Aviation Administration.
The aircraft landed safely and no injuries were reported.
The FAA and the NYPD are investigating the incident.
