JFK Airport Worker Discovers Drone Near Runway

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – A drone was discovered Thursday evening near a runway at John F. Kennedy International Airport.
An operations manager found the device while performing a routine inspection around 4:30 p.m., Port Authority said.
It's unclear how the drone got there.
Port Authority said air traffic and other airport operations were not disrupted.
