Jets-Patriots Game Flexed Out Of Sunday Night Slot

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- The Jets are not ready for prime time -- at least not in two weeks, they're not.

Gang Green's Nov. 27 game against the Patriots will not be a nighttime affair on NBC, as originally scheduled. Instead, NBC will air the more highly anticipated meeting between the Broncos and Chiefs.

The Jets-Patriots game will kick off at 4:25 p.m. at MetLife Stadium and be shown on CBS.

The Jets are 3-7 this season and have been held to 13 or fewer points in four games, including Sunday's 9-6 home loss to the Rams. New England is 7-2 -- tied for the best record in the AFC.

Gang Green, which is on a bye this week, has two more prime time games on the schedule this season: Monday, Dec. 5 against the Colts and Saturday, Dec. 17 against the Dolphins. The NFL's flex scheduling only applies to Sunday night games, meaning there's no chance those contests will be moved.
