Police: Several Cars Vandalized At Long Island Construction Company
ISLANDIA, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) -- Police are trying to figure out who damaged several vehicles parked in the yard of a construction company on Long Island.
Someone jumped over a chain-link fence at Bancker Construction Corp. on Blydenburgh Road between 2:30 a.m. and 3:30 a.m. on April 19, police said.
Once inside, they painted graffiti on a GMC pickup truck, storage trailer and on the pavement, police said.
They also drove a Subaru Forester into a Peterbilt vehicle, a second Forester into a pile of steel beams and a second GMC pickup truck through a fence.
It is unclear how many people were involved.
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 800-220-TIPS.
