Huntington Station Man Accused Of Driving While Intoxicated With Kids In The Car

NEW YORK(CBSNewYork) -- A Huntington Station man has been arrested for driving while intoxicated with two children in his vehicle.

Duhaney Duncan, 42, was driving westbound on the shoulder of the Jericho Turnpike in Huntington Station, just before 8 p.m. on Saturday night, when he struck a parked minivan in front of the Brooklyn Pizza Restaurant, police said.

Duncan and his two children were not injured at the time of the crash. Second Squad detectives charged Duncan with Driving While Intoxicated, Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated With a Child 15 Years Old or Younger, and two counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child.

Duncan is being held at the Second Precinct and was expected to be arraigned on Sunday.

The children were released to their mother.
