Howard Stern Goes Off On Former Knicks Coach Jeff Van Gundy

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Legendary radio host Howard Stern is not a huge fan of former Knicks head coach Jeff Van Gundy.
In fact, it's safe to say that he despises him.
Stern recently attended the Knicks-Nets game at Madison Square Garden last week, and Van Gundy was calling the game for ESPN.
The SiriusXM host left the game early, and that didn't sit well with Van Gundy. He pointed out on-air that Stern didn't stay in his front-row seat until the buzzer sounded, and the self-proclaimed "King of All Media" took issue with the comments.
"Jeff Van Gundy set up the rule that if you get tickets, you have to be there for the entire game," Stern said on his show on Tuesday "... And say it to my f------ face. Next time I'm at the Knick game you can come up to me and talk to me about it, and I'll explain it to you. You midget."

Stern also called Van Gundy, among many other unflattering things, a loser.
"Jeff, you've never experienced being No. 1 at anything," Stern said. "But I have. And the intense dedication that it takes; it means sometimes you have to leave fun things early. Nobody likes leaving a Knick game early, but I have to. Because I'm super dedicated to being No. 1."
