Santas Hit NJ For Annual Ho-Ho-Hoboken SantaCon
HOBOKEN, N.J. (CBSNewYork/AP) -- A sea of Santas took over Hoboken Saturday for the 2nd annual Ho-Ho-Hoboken SantaCon.
The event, billed as a bar crawl, began at 11 a.m. The event's Facebook page shows a photo of dozens of people wearing red Santa suits and fake white beards and indicated that nearly 8,000 people were planning to attend.
As a precaution, NJ TRANSIT banned alcoholic beverages on light rail and buses Saturday and said the policy will be strictly enforced.
