Harlem Globetrotters Getting More Up Close And Personal With Fans
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- The Harlem Globetrotters are placing more of an emphasis on crowd interaction these days, a pair of the acrobatic hoopsters told CBS 2's Andrea Grymes on Sunday.
The team's dazzling exhibition games now include an online-voting component as well as more interaction between players and fans in the arenas.
"We want people to come out, have a good time," Hawk Thomas said. "I can't tell you how excited we are to meet different kids and just the smiles on their faces and how we can impact their life from just one game."
