NYPD: Separate Halloween Robberies Target Banks In Queens, Staten Island
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- The NYPD is searching for two suspects wanted in separate bank robberies in Queens and on Staten Island.
One suspect entered a Flushing Bank location on Kissena Boulevard shortly after 12 p.m. on Monday, slipping the bank teller a note demanding cash, police said.
The suspect then fled the scene with an undetermined amount of cash, police said.
The NYPD describes the suspect as a man between 30-35 years old, standing between 5'7" and 5'8" tall, with a beard and mustache. He was last seen wearing a black knitted hat, black sneakers, a gray hooded sweatshirt and a green-and-gray plaid jacket.

Police say another suspect also struck a Santander Bank on Staten Island at around 12:50 p.m.
In this instance, the teller refused to hand over funds and the suspect left the bank empty-handed.
The Staten Island suspect, whose photo was posted by the NYPD on Tuesday, then entered a Northfield Bank on Bay Street several hours later and demanded money from the teller there. The suspect fled with an undetermined amount of money.
