Google Drops Ball With Super Bowl Roman Numerals

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Google can develop an operating system that you wear on your face. But when it comes to Roman numerals, they're just as confused as the rest of us.

The search-engine giant dropped the ball -- or maybe they're just living in the past? -- after Sunday's conference title games decided the matchup for Super Bowl XLVIII at MetLife Stadium.

A query for "Super Bowl," which has to be popular right about now, yielded the following result Monday morning:

The Baltimore Ravens beat the San Francisco 49ers in last year's Super Bowl XLVII. Maybe Google just wants to forget about it -- there was that blackout, after all.

This year's big game will pit the Denver Broncos against the Seattle Seahawks Feb. 2 in East Rutherford, N.J.
