Giants, Jets Preseason Schedules Released

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- The NFL's preseason schedules are out -- and the Giants will get a taste of what it's like to be in the AFC East.

All four of Big Blue's preseason games come against members of the AFC East. The Giants open with an Aug. 12 home game vs. the Miami Dolphins. They will then travel to Buffalo to play the Bills. The date of that game has not yet been finalized.

The Giants then return to MetLife Stadium on Aug. 27 for their annual preseason game against the Jets, who will serve as the home team this year. Big Blue then closes out the preseason at home against the New England Patriots on Sept. 1.

With the exception of one game, the Jets will face all NFC East teams.

They open with a home game against the Jacksonville Jaguars. The following week, they play at the Washington Redskins. After hosting the Giants, the Jets hit the road again, playing the Philadelphia Eagles.

The dates of the Jets' preseason games have not yet been finalized.
