Flight From LaGuardia Headed For Dayton Lands At JFK Due To Tire Problem

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A Delta Airlines flight headed to Dayton, Ohio made an emergency landing at John F. Kennedy International Airport late Monday.

Delta Flight 6093, which had taken off around 9:15 p.m. from LaGuardia Airport, had to land at the opposite end of Queens around 11:40 p.m. because of an issue with a tire, according to the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey.

Forty-four passengers were on the plane at the time, the Port Authority said.

The passengers were all evacuated from the plane and bused to the terminal, the Port Authority said. They were to be boarded onto another flight.

There were no injuries, the Port Authority said.
