  • Heat Advisory (NYC, many suburbs) Saturday for feels like temps of 95-104

Notes: We are in the midst of a potential heat wave. A heat wave is three or more consecutive days of 90+ degree temperatures. We beat that mark Thursday and Friday and expect to again Saturday. If that happens, the heat wave will be official. 

Forecast: Saturday will be hazy, hot and humid with strong to severe thunderstorms possible.

These storms will be capable of producing locally damaging winds, hail and even an isolated tornado.

Expect highs in the low 90s and feels like temps in the upper 90s to about 100.

Looking Ahead: Sunday will be cooler and less humid with highs in the low 80s. Similar conditions are expected into the start of next week.
