First Alert Weather: Finally, a nice summer weekend
What a splendid day today was! Lots of sunshine, low humidity, and blue skies have been our treats, after enduring weeks of flooding rains, hazy skies and high humidity. In fact, this is the first dry weekend since early June.
For tonight, skies will remain mostly clear. It will be a comfortable night, with low temperatures mainly in the 60s, while a few spots north and west will drop into the 50s.
Sunday will be another spectacular day. With a slight uptick in temperature and humidity, skies will be mostly sunny.
There is a very slim chance of a shower or storm in the afternoon.
Our high will be 87.
Heading into the next week, the risk for a few showers and t'storms returns, but it looks scattered as of now, so no day will be a loss. The bigger change will be the return of the heat and humidity with temps getting back into the 90s by late week.
