Unfortunately, these summer-like temps will not last as a cold front will bring us back to reality going forward.

Saturday night, clouds will roll in, and a few light showers are possible towards dawn. Temperatures will steadily fall into the 50s throughout the night.

Yet another wet weekend day is on tap for Sunday. This would make the eighth consecutive weekend to feature at least some rain.

CBS New York

The rain will come in waves, and with varying intensity. The steadiest and heaviest rain is likely for areas north of the city, while areas well to the south may not see much at all. Rainfall totals will average between .25-.50", with higher amounts to the north.

CBS New York

Highs will be dramatically cooler, not getting out of the 50s. That is 20-25 degrees lower than the highs on Saturday.
