Firefighters Battle Bitter Cold, Flames In Paterson
PATERSON, N.J. (CBSNewYork) -- At least one family has been displaced after a fire tore through a multi-family home in Paterson.
The fire broke out around 1 a.m. Tuesday on Park Avenue.
Firefighters had to battle the bitter cold in addition to the flames.
"The weather was a considerable factor -- high winds and cold temperatures had taken a toll on the equipment as well as the men fighting the fire," said Deputy Fire Chief Richard Hoedemaker.
No injuries were reported
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
