Fire Destroys Home In Lodi, New Jersey
LODI, N.J. (CBSNewYork) -- A major fire tore through a home in Bergen County early Saturday morning.
The flames broke out around 2:30 a.m. in Lodi. Firefighters said the fire began in the backyard.
"Once we got on the scene, the back of the house was fully engulfed," said Ron Cannici. "At this time, we're waiting to shut the gas to get a better idea of what caused the fire."
The woman who lived at the home was able to escape.
One firefighter suffered minor injuries, but is expected to be OK.
