6 Injured Following Accident At Gas Station On Hutchinson River Parkway

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - Six people were injured after an accident at a Mobil gas station in Harrison Tuesday, police said.

The accident took place on the Hutchinson River Parkway just south of the service area near exit 25 for North Street.

A driver suffered a diabetic incident behind the wheel and crashed into another car before hitting the pumps.

The collision with the pumps caused a chain reaction involving four cars, police said.

Firefighters used foam to put out the fire.

At least two cars have suffered significant fire damage. Two other vehicles appear to have been damaged in an apparent rear-end accident near the pumps.

None of the injuries appear to be life-threatening, police said.
