Crowd Scrambles For Cover When Shots Ring Out At Rockaway High Football Game
NEW YORK(CBSNewYork) -- A Queens community got a scare on Saturday when shots rang out during a high school football game.
People both on and off the field scrambled for cover at Rockaway High School in Far Rockaway.
"Everybody started running. The security guard fell to the floor. I thought she got shot at, but no she just fell so she could protect herself, and then everybody was just running, pushing, it was scary," one fan said.
Nobody was hurt. Police were still trying to determine if the shooting happened on school property or a nearby street.
There have been no arrests.
