NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A fire broke out Sunday afternoon in a sidewalk shed near the East River Bike Path on the Upper East Side.
The FDNY was called at 2:32 p.m. to the bike path at 91st Street and the East River, across the FDR Drive from the Asphalt Green waste transfer station.
The FDNY said a sidewalk shed was on fire, and a scaffold kept the bike path protected.
