14-foot-long python found dead on side of Long Island road
MEDFORD, N.Y. -- A 14-foot-long python was discovered on the side of a Long Island road in February.
It was found in Medford on Feb. 14.
The python, which was already dead, measured the length of a truck.
Environmental police want to remind everyone that it's illegal to have a snake like that unless you have a dangerous animal license.
