Cross Bronx Expressway Crash Snarls George Washington Bridge Traffic During Morning Rush
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A crash on the Cross Bronx Expressway caused extensive delays for drivers trying to use the George Washington Bridge during the morning rush on Tuesday.
The crash involving three trucks happened on the Cross Bronx at Jerome Avenue. It has since been cleared, but heavy delays on the upper level remain. At one point, delays were more than two hours.
NJ TRANSIT buses headed to the George Washington Bridge bus terminal are also facing delays of up to 30 minutes.
